Ok so the story has switched back into Elphaba's favor and she and Fiyerio have quite a tryst... She has gone "underground" for 5 years and he finds her in a church, praying... Strange thing for Elphaba... The story - like I've said before- is slow moving and there is no real action... Nothing to build suspense... Much like he is writing a simple biography... After all it is the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West... I don't think I would recommend this to any of my friends... We like mystery, action, suspense and maybe some little something thrown into the mix... But if you do like biographies or maybe books with political issues addressed then this may be the book for you... I do however think I would still like to see the play

I loved the musical and I liked the book, although I agree that the book does move slow. It's worth a read, but was a little difficult for me to get through at times.
I bought this book at the used bookstore and have been wondering if I'd like it. Maybe it'll be one of my next reads.
It "sounds" interesting.
