Are your kids healthy?

In just a little while, I'm going to be heading out to an elementary school to perform health screenings for kids. We see all sorts of issues from poor teeth, insulin resistance, eye problems, heart murmurs, etc. that really shold have been checked out before the kid got to school. If nothing else, make sure your kids EYES are ok. If they can't see, they can't learn. You want them to get the best education that they can.

I agree! I'm glad they have you to help out! Wish the school did such a comprehensive check here. We are DOD school, overseas. Eyes, height and weight yes. At certain levels only scoliosis.

I don't ever remember having a check in school that included all that... I know they did an eye test and a hearing test and later checked for scoliosis but that was about it for me.

It is sad that many children's health issues can be avoided... I wish I could get my stepson's eyes checked thoroughly... He always has headaches from reading... His mother has taken him for regular eye tests, but refuses to take him to an opthamalogist for any further testing... You can see when you look at him, in pictures, and while he is reading, that his eyes are not working together...

We just got my daughter's teeth taken care of in August so I am pretty sure she is healthy :)

Go, Dan, Go! I know you will enjoy the children, and it will be a great service you will perform for them. Can you ask them about stress issues if you sense something might be wrong in that area? So many children have miserable home lives that contribute to health problems. Or must you strictly address visible issues?

I am commenting on all of your articles and photos as you have asked us to do in the mass email sent out! Not all my comments will be personalized as there are 20 pages of articles to read through and even more than that on photos and I would rather spend the time reading and looking and enjoying then writing! Btw I saw you were listed as having 20 pages of articles but it will only let me see 19 of them so I will Comment on everything it lets me see!
