did you guys see the article I wrote about how to be generous year round? Well, I tried to submit it to AC first but it got rejected, so I posted it here. I was pissed. AC said it was too broad of a topic. UGHH!
Alena They reject for the weirdest reasons! THey told me I had to give a source ONLY one time for one article even though I'd had others with 2 or 3 sources in them.
That's actually the first time I've got rejected by AC, I think. They tried to reject one of my articles before but I just edited a few words, re-submitted and they took it. This time I tried the same thing and it didn't work. I was pissed! I thought it was a good article.

you just write articles and submit them. You can either submit them as exclusive, meaning you don't put them on other sites like gather or non-exclusive. Then, they get back to you usually within a week or two with an offer, you accept it and it goes in your paypal account in a few days. The exclusive articles usually pay better than the non-exclusive.
The Diet to Go meals are great! Way better than Lean Cuisine or anything like that. Nothing like Nutri-system! I tried that too, and the food was just too nasty! After spending like $500 to get started on it, I think I' lasted like 3 days. I just couldn't make myself do it!
I am pleasantly surprised and greatly impressed with the Diet to Go plan.
Krissy & I got to talking about in laws last night and I almost wrote an article on that - but I'm not sure if I should or not - too much cr*p!!!!!!!!!!
Yep - that seems to be the general consensus on the in law subject - It's sad we used to get along so well in the beginning but now - I have to be getting an EMMY for all th acting I do!!!!!!!!!!
I don't even bother acting Barb------they know I don't like them! I think she figured that out the night I asked her "if she had gas money to come her ass whipping, or if I needed to drive it to her?" After that never a need to pretend! lol
Well Like I told the gals last nite Jill,, I do it for my daughter - she will form her own opinion when she gets older (she's only 5) and to her they are sweet as can be - really - it's just all the little digs she gets in at me - and they way I think she treats my hubby is just plain sad!!!! He says he doent care but I still get upset for him~~~
see, that's my problem with mine, they treat my son like crap too. So, I have no use for them. To me, there's nothing he can learn from them except how to be racist. They don't like me because I'm not Mexican. Even though we're all the same religion, it doesn't matter, because I'm not Mexican. And, I married their oldest son, who's the one who should know better because he's the one they had the most time to brainwash!
We live an hour away from them (another one of their problems with me because their other kids all live within walking distance). We used to call them like every day when our son was little to tell them about all the cool things he did. Like today he crawled, today he smiled, etc. They would just say "that's nice" like they didn't even care. But, when their other son had a daughter, they would ooh and ahh over her all the time, and she wasn't even cute! LOL
Last January was the last straw with them for us. They showed up over an hour late to our son's b-day party, knowing we only had the place for an hour and a half. Then, to top it all off, they had been in town the entire day, and were shopping instead of coming to the party. Then, when they came in so late, my hubby actually decided to act like a man for once. He confronted them and asked why the hell they were so late. My mother in law said "This just isn't important to us!"
It was all I could do not to slap the bitch across the face!
YIKES!!! That's harsh Jill!!! Yep I can honestly say that they do try with my daughter. But... and again this is petty they so spoil the other kids more thatn mine - (my sister in law lives here too) They always stay at her house and buy EVERYTHING and we have to do everything at S-I-L home never at mine and then she buys thekids tons of crap!! Not that I want my kid to have more crap - that' not even the issue - it's just that soon my kid will pick up on this - she already ask why Grammy & Pap never come to our house!! It make my blood boil -- I pray SO HARD about this - and still my heart is racing right now!!!!
Alena, it isn't just a line! It's the honest truth! She had the audacity to tell me I "needed to learn to be a mother and quit being such a bitch", when I refused to allow the boys to go spend Christmas with her. That was my reply, and she got real nice after that. Sadly, I wasn't playing, either! (This from a woman who has never even raised a child!)

I went to post the cafe, finished it and kept smelling coffee getting stronger and stronger, the pot had gone off at midnight and made the coffee, I didnt want to wash the pot so I had to find a thermos to put it in and hope it stays hot until I wake up.
Josh is M-I-L's only child. Although he has raised him since before he was a year old, Josh is not Kolten's biological father. There is five years difference between my boys, and when Klayten was a baby, M-I-L would actually show up with a car load of presents for Klayten and not one for Kolten, and then would get angry when I'd send them all back home with her.
Then, they invited themselves back to our apartment, and hubby just let them. Our son fell asleep on the way home. He was pooped from all the birthday hoopla. He didn't get to open his presents at his party because we held everything up to wait for the dipshit patrol (that's what I call them), so we took the gifts home and he was going to open them when he woke up. He hadn't slept all day because he was so excited about the party. So, when he fell asleep on the way home, I was planning to let him sleep.
So, the dipshit patrol walks in and wakes him up without even asking me if it's ok. Of course, my son was crying and screaming because the poor baby just wanted to sleep. I was so freaking pissed. I refused to offer them chairs. My SIL just gave me a dirty look. I said "Do you have something to say?" She stood there silent and I just said "That's right, you better shut up!" I was pissed!!
Maybe - that's what I need to do Krissy - just tell her how I really feel - but I don't want to upset my daughter or my hubby so I let is pass and thankfully it only for a few days!!!
Krissy, that would have pissed me off too!! I don't like to talk about my in-laws because they piss me off so much I can feel my bloodpressure rise when I talk about it.
By the way, my son's birthday party was the last time we saw them. He's turning 3 in January. So, it's been almost a year!
But for the record, I think we're all right to defend ourselves against our in-laws. We have to do what's right for our kids and ourselves, and if our hubby's won't stand up for us (like mine!) then we have to do it ourselves!
