Well, I was sitting down this afternoon looking into the upcoming bills that need to be paid this Friday. Our cell phone coverage and cost has been something we have been meaning to look into for a while now. We are spending an average of $59 per month (for 12 months) for two our two cell phones. Last year we spent a total of $701.99 on our cell phone coverage for the year and we don’t use our phones that often.
We recently moved to a more rural area and have noticed our cell phones don’t get a signal at our house. This is a big problem for us and I am finally looking into other cell phone plans/ phones and options. Why throw away $700 a year on a silly phone that we don’t even use that often and have no reception for when we are home? While I was searching around I found this site where you can compare cell phone plans.
I went ahead and compared our current plan and found that we seem to have a pretty good deal as it is. We get 500 anytime minutes through t-mobile and we pay an average of $59 per month. Now we know we wont be getting a better cell phone plan with another company because wirefly showed us all the plans they offer with all the other cell phone companies..

It was a very helpful comparison tool and it put me at ease about the cost of our cell phone plan. Now we just need to figure out why our T-mobile phones can’t get reception in our house… If you are looking for information on how your cell phone plan compares to others try out the cell phone plan comparison tool at wirefly.com.

Well I get a signal in my front yard but not inside my house...
:-( I am still not sure what we are going to do, or can do about it....
Talina, too it could just be a software upgrade. Verizon advises to come in every 3 months for a software update. The updates include new towers installed or acquired. It could be something as easy as that. Let me know how it turns out!
I never thought about the software upgrade.. I'll need to look into that. Thanks for reminding me of the software upgrades!!
