Where do you buy ink?

I just usually get it from Walmart. I just got my printer and I don't want to take a chance. I know some refills really are messy and make a mess of the printer (i used to work for Office Depot)

Staples. I tried those ink refills and just made a BIG ink mess.

I get mine from Walmart but I went to Walgreens for the free refill last month and I'll be going there for now on.

I haven't had to buy ink for my printer yet. When I do, I'll probably go where they sell it the cheapest.

My printer is way to picky it won't let me use cartridges that I have refilled my self. I want to pout.It would be so much cheaper and convenient to refill myself. I like 123inkjets myself. But I also shop sales.

I don't buy ink. When my printer ran out it sat there with an empty cartridge in it. Then Walgreens had a FREE INK DAY. We took it there and got a refill. Once this goes I'm not sure what we will do. Probably Walgreens or buy a home ink refill kit. MUCH cheaper than buying a new cartridge.

I always get mine from printpal.com. They've always worked great and you get free shipping.

I tried Walgreens for both the b&w and color cartridges but the colors were way off and the black was more like dark grey. I have used 123 Inkjets in the past and was pleased with them. But now that I have an HP 4 in 1 I don't like to use anything but new HP cartridges. I know they are very expensive, but I print a lot of coupons, etc and like the colors to be true and bright.

I have killed a couple of printers with the home refill kits. I have wondered about the refill service at Office Max.....maybe next time....

I got my cartridges refilled at Cartridge World but I always had trouble with clogs afterwards They were cheaper but I could never get all of the colors to work. The last time I bought any I went to Wal-Mart.

I buy my ink at Sam's club. They have my ink for a reasonable price. I get three inks for about $50.00 or I get two color and one black for $70.00. I have not found a better deal. I take my old ink to staples to get $3.00 off my purchases there. I usually use the money on products that are free after rebate.

DO NOT buy the compatible cartridges or refill them. I have seen many a printer while in biz get ruined because of these.

Lately I have been buying 3 packs at office maxx.

Ink is such a rip! The printer is cheap and the cartridges are where they get ya!

Be careful of ebay ink, as this has also done me wrong!! Sometimes you don't even get the cartridges you order or they are imports and ruin your machine :(

Haven't bought ink in over 3 years - just can't afford it and haven't really needed to print too much - although my "My Documents" folder is really full from copying all my bill paying receipts to it ~sigh~

I did buy from 123inkjets once and I wasn't impressed (cartridge didn't seem to last very long) so now I buy mine from Sam's Club or Target.

Only the most expensive perfumes can compete when comes to the cost of inkjet refills. Averaging between $80 and $100 per ounce. Since your inkjet printer either came free (with your computer) or was purchased ...usually for under $150, it almost makes sense to buy a new one every time. The first set of cartridges comes free.

If you print mostly in black and white, get a cheap laser jet that uses toner instead of ink and you can easily save a couple hundred bucks a year.

Another way to save if you must use an inkjet printer, is to make sure that your black and white output prints in grayscale. Otherwise all 4 or 6 colors will be used to create black. The people who make these things are no fools, and the defaults are set to waste as much ink as possible.
