I am so sorry for the belated birthday celebration. I am so stressed right now. I am working under the gun for a very big writing assignment. But I really wanted to get Melinda’s birthday celebration out. Melinda is kind and understanding about the delay and just an all around great gal who deserves a celebration. So happy belated birthday, Melinda W. (her birthday was on October 6, which happens to be the same day as my mother). Here is her story.
Okay, my self. Single but attached. I live in the GREAT state of Maryland, in the heart of it's biggest city of Baltimore. :) I'm now 31, a forensic toxicology student, working part time as an in home party consultant for women, and writing on
Gosh, several jobs I've had in my lifetime. Yes, I work outside the home. I'm a forensic toxicology student working in an analytical chemistry laboratory. I have also worked professionally as a real estate admin assistant, research analyst, biologist, cancer biologist, radiation specialist, and photographer...just to name a few.
I was writing since I was a kid. I do write professionally for work, but nothing that's worthwhile to all you creative types. I'm hoping to get my first paper in Analytical Toxicology soon.
I began to write as an outlet to deal with my health problems. It helped to escape.
Hobbies: music, music, music. I enjoy music a lot. I also enjoy kayaking, being outside, science as a whole, writing, reading, and you couldn't be this close to DC without enjoying politics at least a little bit.
I don't like walking in the rain, hehe, makes me slip. I love to travel, and wish I could afford to more. I enjoy reading, and answering and helping to solve problems. I also enjoy people as a whole. I like to see various different aspects of people, and how they view the world. I love sports, so that's good too.
My peeves are people who underestimate people. I think there's a huge capacity for anyone out there to do great things. 2nd I would have to say is narrow mindedness. I think there's a huge difference between intelligence and being smart.
The issues that concern me are environment, for obvious reasons, education, also for obvious reasons, and disability issues...again for obvious reasons.
I've been really sick. Like for a long time. And, I am finally coming around to starting to feel better, and having a longer life expectancy. It's interesting because I'm one of those people that wanted to live life to the fullest, so I didn't get much of an opportunity to plan ahead for any type of future. I have that choice now.
I would really like to see Italy and the Vatican. Not to mention the South Pacific. All of it. I'd love to end up as a retired scientist working as a surfing photographer.

I have my birthday so close to my sister’s that it was always about the both of us. It made things great because it was about the two of us together.
My birthday wish is to be healthy.

I posted two. links where people can view my work and get to know me a little better.
I wish for Janelle to post Chad Kroeger and Santana: Into the Night if she can.
I think that's it!
Thanks Carol! You're a DOLL!!!
