One more day at Gabby's

I can't believe how quickly the week has passed.  Tomorrow we will be going to HOover Dam and then I will spend the night at the Orleans Hotel and go to MacCarren airport very early Tuesday morning for my flight back to Iowa.

I have seen much of the desert area west of Vegas, and much of the Vegas strip at night, It is so different than when I was there 18 years ago.  None of the giant resort casinos were built then.  We watched the Chippendales show at the Rio on Friday night.  Those guys are not just dancing strippers, they are superb athletes as well, and many are good singers,  We had front row center seats which meant the they came down to us.  I was pulled from my chair and got to dance a little with one of them as he sang to me.  Then I got a hug and kiss.  Also caught one of the tear away shirts so now I suppose I will have to start a collection.

On Saturday my hostess and I were up early to help decorate a float for the Fall Festival parade in Pahrump.  Then we both rode on it as well.  It was cool and very windy and we were so tired when we got back to her home thaat we had naps.
