To believe in God. Who is going to know anyways?

By the time we figure out that there is a God is or isn't, we are either standing before Him or not.

I believe there is a god.... and I would hate to think of the alternative if I didn't!

I do not always believe all the 'images' people show of god to try to depict 'him' as a person. When you trace back the actual teachings you will see and learn god is not 'white' like he is often shown but actually of some color. The history of it all is fascinating ... I believe god takes many shapes and forms .. to his believers.

I would rather believe that there is a God that loves me and live a good life with the hope of eternal life and believing I am forgiven and find out I am wrong. Than to live not having the belief I am cared about and that my life has no rhyme or reason and find out I missed the boat big time. But I am biased, as I believe in God!

In my heart, there is the knowledge of God. My faith in Jesus Christ is a foundation of this knowledge. I believe because he is, not because I am hedging my bets.

That was my whole point. Why live your whole life NOT believing in God and find out that there is One at the very moment you are standing before Him!!!!!

There are a lot of people who use this logic thinking they have fire insurance. I'm not certain it works that way, from what I've read in the Bible.

well I do believe in God and I'm very honored that Jesus died on the cross for me, and I know that one day i'll get to be in heaven, and I can lay down at night and sleep in peace.

Are some of you guys telling me that they only believe in God JUST IN CASE there is one.if there is a God and he knew this then i'm not quite sure you're exactly what he's after.enjoy the flames!!!

I personally think there is proof of a God's existence in our lives here on Earth if you only choose to see it. Now do I belive in the whole propaganda of the Christian religion absolutely not, but yes I think there is a God and I do belive there is something that happens when we die and it is more peaceful than what we go through in life. Death is always painful for us in some way or another and I think this is part of the natural order of it. Death is paninful for us so that we appreciate our lives more when it is over. I think we are all part of God and when we die we simply return back to that core.
