Some old and dear friends of mine were in the community recently to visit family and I happened to be able to chat with them briefly by their car in a dentist's parking lot. In the course of the conversation I mentioned my new "stained-glass canvas" style of painting and they wanted to see what it looked like. I happened to have all my paintings that I was taking to the galleries on the Outer Banks with me, so I got them out of my car and laid them out on the parking lot. They were all wrapped in bubble wrap, but that didn't seem to phase them. To my great surprise (and honor) they asked if they could buy one! Of course I said they could. Then they had this big discussion about which one to buy; his favorite was different than her's, and finally she got out her checkbook and said, "We'll take them both!"
Here are the two they purchased. Just for fun, I am curious as to which one you think the husband liked (and therefore the wife liked the other)... they are in their late 50's, he's a pastor, and she's a school teacher. They have lived much of their married life in the Virginia Beach and Tidewater areas of Virginia, but they live near Washington, DC now.
I'll post the answer as a comment here in a day or two. :D

Charity's God's World For You ...Inspirational Artwork
How ever since he is a pastor, like me drawn to fish as it is a symbol of Christianity, my guess is he liked the fish and she liked the sailboat.
You do great work and I love stained glass!
He probably liked the fish and
She liked the Boat too.
More to me than I want to remember....but that is where I get "word of mouth" contacts;those always seem better. Good luck on your continued success!!!
Thanks for playing!
