Week 8: Listing Ourselves-Fear

So I haven't been on Gather long, but this is too compelling to resist.  Fear-what a great place to step in!

1. Fear of losing one of my kids. 

2. Fear of not being able to pay my rent and losing the house and having to sit in the candle-lit living room eating cold hot dogs because they can sit out on the counter for a long time without going bad.  Which would really suck because I hate hot dogs.

3. Two combine-success/failure!

4. Fear of, okay, spiders.  My 13 year old has to kill them for me.

5. Fear that I might drink again someday.  Not today though.

6. Fear that I really don't know what I am doing in my job and am fooling all of these people into thinking they can put themselves into my capable hands.

7. Fear that I am going to have to go to the scene of a terrible accident and scrape my mom off the pavement because she got drunk one too many times.

8. Fear that when I die, some cosmic being I think of as God is going to say, "Hey, it was all a joke, there really isn't any afterlife!"

9. Fear of getting lost.  I have never actually BEEN lost, but whenever I go somewhere new, I worry about it a lot.

10. Fear that there really isn't any such thing as love, and finding out that it really isn't blind, just stupid.
