A rant about my mail carrier!

Lately we've been having a different mail carrier each week and yesterday I received my neighbors mail and today I received another neighbors mail. 

I love receiving mail because I receive a lot of freebies and checks and giftcards from different survey sites and I would like to receive all my mail.  I also receive decoy mail for U.S. Monitor and I don't like the fact I'm receiving other peoples mail because they might be receiving mine too.

I must have had a different carrier last week sometimes. We leave our cocker spaniel tied up outside sometimes. Usually the postal worker just pets her, buts the mail in the box and goes... for 2 days last week we didnt' get mail. Finally we did, and written on one of my letters was "9-27 dog out"... They wouldn't bring me the mail because my dog was out!!! I wish we could just always have the same person!

We are lucky that we have a fantastic mail carrier! She's one of the best I've had!

Carolyn, I am sorry to hear about your mail carrier....hopefully they will find a mail carrier for your route soon, so you don't have to keep getting different ones and other people's mail.

I really don't have any problems with our mail carries, they drag a lot of freebies and packages to our door....and they never have any complaints.

we have a good mail carrier, but he's gonna retire soon... so we might not be so lucky when he goes... good luck...

Maybe they will get you a mail carrier so the same one brings your mail every day and does it right. We use to have that trouble too.

My other neighbor had someones mail in her box last week too, I hope they get one mail carrier and leave it that way.

I get someone elses mail here also, I wonder if they get mine do they return it. That is a scarey thought. I am going to google the info now. Thanks for the information.

I think this happens everywhere, unfortunately, and not really anything we can do about it. :(

Sandra, the policy of the Postal Service is if a dog is loose or tied where it can reach you when you are delivering the mail, you are NOT to deliver the mail. Even if you know the dog, even if it is obviously friendly. If you are caught breaking this policy you can be fired.
