I think there is alot more to come down the pipeline that will still don't know about. This is the price you pay for doing business at a cheaper price in China and other countries with economies like China.

Wow...all of these recalls lately. I am always looking out for these things...I have a niece and 3 nephews that are between the ages of 1 and 4...it's scary that there are so many childrens things on these lists. Thank you for sharing this information.

The reason for these recalls is simple: The manufacturer in China that was originally tagged as using leaded paint manufactures more than just Sesame Street toys. As they dig through everything they've manufactured and used the lead paint on, the CPSC keeps issuing these recalls.
You can bet your butt that competing Chinese manufacturers right now are scrambling to make certain their paint does NOT contain lead. Eventually they'll make this a selling point to the U.S. distributors.

There has been way too much stuff recalled lately. I'm having a really hard time finding age appropriate toys for my toddler's Christmas presents and second birthday. Just about everything you can find in most stores was made in China.
