Top Chef Final!!!

Hung was/is definitely talented. He deserved to win. Of course I did not taste his food! LOL

Personally, I liked Casey. Dale was ok.....but not my favorite.

Personality wise, I was favoring Casey, but she really blew it on that final...

Between Dale and Hung, food/performance-wise, I was fairly torn...

Personality wise, I was definitely preferring Dale.

I hate Hung's personality. He was a selfish, cocky jerk through most of the contest, he was careless in the kitchen, about cutting people several times, made messes that he didnt clean up. I was rooting for Dale from the start. I thought he was the most creative and was the most passionate about his food as well as his concerns for other contestants.

AH POOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't watched it yet, I've got it recorded. I was hoping for Casey to win... I ♥ Top Chef also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh yeah~I forgot to mention that I thought Hung was always cocky!
That is the part I did not like. Sorta like Marcell from previous......I understand those two are friends! I saw him in the audience last night and hugged Hung after he won.
*sigh*

Ya that wouldn't surprise me that they are friends. Even though Dale was not the most experienced I was really going for him. I think they just went with the safer choice.

Maybe next season a female will win~

I did not get to see top chef here.. We do get to see Hells Kitchen and I love that show

I dislike Hung's personality. I thought Drew or Casey deserved to win, Casey really fell apart in the ;ast round so it should have gone to Drew.

Don't watch the show so I dunno! LOL

I was rooting for Casey too.

I guess he won because he got the most overall points and favorism.

Hung was a jerk and I am pissed that the judges picked technique over personality because he didn't have one and there is a lot more to cooking and being a top chef than technique. Am I the only one who noticed that in the previous round that the judge said, Casey's food had a soul and then in the last round that was all that came out of Hung's mouth? He played everything and he won everything but my respect.

I wanted Casey to win because I think she is a true top chef. And who managed to hook up Howie to her in the last round. He was a f up from the beginning.

Dale was kind of the dark horse and he admitted it. You got to give him credit for how far he got and not be in the game for over a year.

Casey won the public vote hands down. I hope the judges and producers are planning to buy a lot of the advertisers products because I am not. Why should I when they make this kind of decision. Now they are talking about throwing out a bone to the popular favorite. Yeah right because it won't cut it with me and I am not getting involved with this next Bravo show that they cooked up either.

By the by, Hung lives and works in the same city I do and I have it on good authority that his cooking isn't all that.

i enjoy watching the show....was disappointed that Hung won because i feel he was cocky,not helpful to his colleagues and relied on the technicals...same way i feel about photography...one photog can be spot on with the technicals,but the resulting photos may lack "soul",or "poetry" and be purely documentation....

i would have preferred Casey or Dale to win....

does anyone else see that Casey looks very similar to Jennifer Anniston?...even her facial expressions and voice at times reminded me of Anniston.....

I liked most of the contestants that made it near the end this year. I do think Hung deserved the title though. My husband and I pegged him and one other fellow (who got eliminated pretty early) as one of the two possible winners.

I've never seen the show. I wonder if I get it on cable. I'll have to check.

I see this is pretty old but had to comment. Great to meet another Top Chef junkie!!
