Heading to Texas

On Wednesday Tonia and I will load the car and head for Texas to attend the Third Annual Peruvian National Horse Show held in Fort Worth. We are looking forward to watching Favorito's sister compete, and hopefully win the National Title in her class. I just wanted to share our excitement and anticipation with our friends. :) I'm sure pictures and videos will follow! Join us in wishing the Anderson Pecan Ranch  good luck in all of their entries!

For anyone who might wonder, Favorito is the horse in Deb's icon. It is exciting to think that we have championship winning bloodlines within our little herd. I will probably even invest in another 1GB memory card just to make sure I have enough room for all the photos I know I will be taking.

So glad you will get to participate in this event. To me, ALL your horses are champions, but I appreciate the distinction Tonia was making. Hope our Texas weather will be good for you. At this time of year, it can be all over the place. Take care in traveling.

Debbie, I'm delighted you and Tonia can have this wonderful diversion. I saw horses on the pampas in Argentina, and I realized how little I know about horses. I wished you and Tonia were there to helped me out.

Just so you know, I heard thunder rumbling when I got off work today. Our local weather guy predicts thunder storms the first few days of this week. Course, his accurate prediction record is not great.
Y'all just be damn careful when you come on down. And remember that folks down here are not famous for being good drivers in bad weather.
