I had that problem the other day and they said it was fixed, may be a glitch again. I didn't notice it at all today.

I haven't had this issue today, but I had it last week. My comments kept disappearing. But they seem to work now.

Yesterday my mail box freaked out, I have 118 missing e-mail to go with the 218 from a previous glitch, I don't know if it's my optimer or just that I may be deleting too fast, oh well It's good today so I'm not gonna sweat it too much.

Some people have the option of deleting your comments if they don't like them or for whatever reason. If I ever do that I will tell the person why.

I've had numerous comments disappear but assumed they were deleted by the article author. Had a couple of connections leave also but thought perhaps they removed the connection. Maybe my assumptions are wrong.

I don't know. I thought I had posted a few comments, but then they were gone. But, I am not sure if the person who wrote the piece took it off. I didn't write anything wrong or offensive though.

I had someone ask me why I had deleted a comment they made on my story. I never deleted one. So, there may be something to this.

If you check the box saying you are previewing all comments. The comments do not post right away.

This has been reported periodically across the site, and Gather is working to identify if it is indicative of a larger problem, or if comments are simply being removed from content accidentally or by the content author.

Do the comments still appear in your comment listings, but the comment bubble is a pale yellow?

If the content author is removing them it would show that they removed them in that little box under the article, Kevin. From what I've seen, that is not the case.

It shows that comments have been removed within the box, but it doesn't indicate which comments. Thus, trying to prove that something did exist, when there is no visible record, may not be easy.
