1)Watch a scary movie...This permits a safe confrontation of real fears disguised in conquerable metaphorical form.
2)Become a Denial Queen. Denial can be a terrific coping strategy. Don't ignore serious issues, but you can give yourself temporary breathing room with denial.
3)Go to Extremes. High intensity workouts helps decrease anxiety or stress.
4)Do Sweat the Small Stuff. If you have a catastrophic event happen in life, break the situation down into smaller doable parts and neglect the rest. This way you can get a handle on the stress.
5)Rock On. Your favorite music is a great stress reliever. Two factors were important in this study. One was that the person stressed got to pick their own music and the other was that the music was familiar to them.

A Scandalous Overture
These are just suggestions and you need to listen to your Dr and your own body. I wouldn't watch the scary movie myself, I get too into it and it upsets me. So as with anything I post, take the info you can use and discard the rest.
