Next Week I turn 47....yikes

I cannot believe that next Wednesday that I will turn 47! That is only 3 years from 50, I never thought I would get to this point in life. My oldest girl is 27, so that should have told me something...here are my brightsides:

 I can join AARP

 I can get a discount at the movies in some areas

 I can move into senior housing! if I needed to

 If my Dad passes on,which he promised me he will not until he is into the 100's!!..I can    move into his development without any hassles -since they turned into a 50 and older community.

Ok , that is not that many..but I am sure there is more!!

Well I just thought I laugh about it, what else can you do!!

This is neat, I turned 47 this past April it is not so bad. To be honest right now it feels great, I am retiring on October 19th, (after 28 years w/county government) and the first thing people say to me is,-"you are too young to retire"!! I like the 'too young' part. LOL (10)

It's not so bad, I made it and am still going strong! Everything does start to fall apart though, the skin, the teeth...ughhhhhhh.

Bundy, funny story..my friend's husband used to go to the movies and say 2 seniors..but my friend still wasn't 55..once they proofed her!!!
