My Standings:

I am actually nearing another 2,000! Wow! I have so many stories to share, things to write about. But the time to do it seems to be hard to come by. Of course, it has been pretty busy over the past few days. Hubby came home on Friday after a week of absence. We also had some dear friends come to stay with us on Thursday and they are staying until Wednesday. So, that has taken up some of my free time, Gather time. They are missionaries, heading to Portugal after the first of the year. Each time we see them, we realize it could be the last time. So we cherish each visit. This family has 5 children; 4 girls and a boy. Just imagine all 13 of us sharing a 3 bedroom house! It is loads of fun. Their oldest is 8 and youngest (boy) is 1 year old. We give them our children's bedrooms and pile all our children in our bedroom on sleeping bags and pallets.

During the day, it gets noisy, even during homeschooling hours! And in the evenings, the toys and books are scattered from one end of the house to the other. But we are enjoying each other's company and know that when the mess is cleaned up and the noise is gone, they will be too. And they will be missed!
