I have rekindled my passion for The Sims lately. I still play the original game, not The Sims2 on DVD. My DVD door broke on this computer about the same time the warranty expired.
In the past month I've ordered all the expansion packs for the original Sims. Now my Sims can have pets, become movie stars, go on vacation, perform magic feats and go shopping downtown. I've also downloaded a bunch of neat Sims crap from some websites. For instance, I downloaded Marilyn Monroe's head, along with George Bush's, Ozzie Osbourne's, Ziggy Stardust's (aka David Bowie), Aerosmith's Steven Tyler's, Terri Hatcher's, Michael Jackson's, all of The Munsters', Carmen Diaz's, all of the Beatles', and Gene Simmons' in his Kiss makeup. Currently, SimVicky is living in a house with Marilyn Monroe, Ozzie Osbourne and Steven Tyler. SimVicky looks a great deal like Terri Hatcher of Desperate Housewives fame and has a fabulous yellow tango dress.
But this is an update on SimJoanne and SimBongo. These Sims were resurrected after an unfortunate night when I left them on "free-will" mode and they trashed the house to such an extent that I had no choice but to drown them in the pool and start over again.

This is the exterior of the Huspek-Mirror home. As you can see, they enjoy their privacy, with both a fence and a hedge to thwart nosey Sims who live in their neighborhood.

One would think that after being drowned in their first incarnation, SimJoanne and SimBongo would be reluctant to get back into a swimming pool, but as you can see, they enjoy a dip almost daily.
Although their relationship points are growing, love doesn't always run smoothly in the household. SimBongo adores soaking in the hottub. Left to choose what he'd like to do, he almost always heads straight there. SimJoanne often joins him. Here they are sharing a loving smooch among the hot bubbles.
Here's SimJoanne and SimBongo cuddling on their patio swing. When I gave SimJoanne the command to "cuddle," she yawned and used the old move of slipping her arm around SimBongo's shoulders and scooting over next to him.
This is Alfred, the Huspek-Mirror's first butler. He was hired to avert the problems of poor household hygiene the original SimJoanne and SimBongo experienced. The butler's job is to keep things tidy, call repairmen when needed, dismiss guests when they stay too late, and in general keep the home running smoothly. But trash began to pile up around the house. Broken appliances were left unusable. Unfortunately, Alfred had a drinking problem that got progressively worse. SimBongo fired him and hired another butler that looks exactly like Alfred, but without Alfred's penchant for hitting the living room bar whenever the Mirror-Huspeks are sleeping.
The Mirror-Huspeks are popular with their neighbors and throw frequent parties. This keeps their social meters in the green. Sometimes SimJoanne just doesn't want to end the night and go to bed. Several times this has ha
ppened:
Most of the time, SimJoanne and SimBongo are quite romantic with each other. But this was the result when SimJoanne was instructed to give SimBongo a "fiery kiss:"

SimBongo fought her off. His hunger meter was very low at the time and she'd interrupted his meal preparation. Perhaps that's why he rebuffed her so strongly. A little while later, they made up.
Not surprising, one of SimBongo's favorite things to do to raise his "fun" meter is to use the computer. I can't see the screen very well, but is that Gather he's looking at?
One of SimJoanne's favorite passtimes is to paint. Can you tell what might be on her mind by looking at her painting?
Here's the finished painting.
Just like real folks, SimJoanne and SimBongo spend about one-third of their time in bed. At first, before they gained enough relationship points, they wouldn't sleep in the same bed. SimBongo had a twin-size of his own in the corner. But as their love and lust grew, they both moved into this bed, which also vibrates for 5 Simoleons (Sim dollars).

As their relationship grows, a command will become available, "play in bed." When told to do that, they will pull the covers up completely over themselves and there will be all sorts of gyrations taking place under the sheets. They haven't reached that point, yet.

When the game asked SimJoanne and SimBongo if they'd like to have a baby, they chose to forego parenthood, at least for the time being. They did, however, decide to get a dog. Here they are at the Animal Shelter adopting Randie, a cute little Dalmation.
And so we leave the Mirror-Huspeks for the time being. They are for the most part happy, enjoying many conversations about their shared interests, dancing to their favorite disco music, training Randie not to pee in the house, and with a butler who is doing his job to make their lives easier. There will be further updates as events warrant.

Sad thing is that just last week we put a new video card, RAM chips, and power supply in my daughter's computer for the express purpose of making her computer capable of running the Sims 2. That is a family addicted.
I am going to print this out and read it and get back to you.
I suspect that I will feel honoured.
Your Ozzy/Marilyn Monroe/Steven Tyler Sims sounds like an episode of the Surreal World.
both my kids' play sims...I suspect they would love to find that particular cheat code
