Color blind

Color blind I am you see

When I look at you .. no colors I will see

For I look into your eyes ..

You skin is irrelavent to me ..

For your soul is what I want to see ..

Your heart is it where it needs to be?

Don't look at my skin and judge me ..

Instead look inside and you will love me..

For don't we all bleed the same?

Don't we breathe the very same way?

Why not look into my heart right from the start?

So what my skin is not the same ..

So what you think I have a funny name ..

Get to know me and you will see ..

Not so different you and me..

I get happy ..

I get sad ..

I have struggled..

I've been mad ..

I have loved ..

And I have lost ...

Haven't you?

You know this is true ..

Your like me .. and I like you

So forever I will remain ..

Color blind to the end.
