Easy to make colored 'slushie' packs for little ones bo bo's

OK I saw this on tv one day and though WOW .. I never though of such a thing!

So for all the mommies and daddies out there this is cheap ... easy .. the kids can help make it and you will always have ice packs on hand!

Here's what you need.

Plastic ziploc bags

Rubbing alcohol

Water

Food coloring

And a few small cups (like lil sippy cups size)

Now get the plastic bags and open them and hang them using the tops of the cups to hold them open. Put a table spoon of the rubbing alcohol into each baggy. Next fill the baggy about 1/2 way full with water. After you have that in the baggy have you child drop in some food coloring. Then seal the bag shut. Now get another ziplock bag and put it over the other bag so that the two zipper ends are on opposite ends. Now put them in the freezer.

Then when you need something for a bo bo .. or and ouchy .. you will have these to grab! The alcohol will keep it from freezing solid and the colors will make it fun for the child to use. Not to mention it is cheap and easy to make!  I have already made some and they are great!
