Have you ever thought you were born at the wrong time?  Instead of the time period you were born in, have you ever wished you grew up in the 50s, or maybe were a Southern Belle pre-civil war, or maybe you thought those Geico cavemen were modeled after you?

So what time period would you have loved to live in?

I was told that if I were born in the 18th century I probably would have been burned at the stake, but I always thought I'd fit in better pre-suburbia, pre-fast food, pre-Oprah.

I'd like to time travel and go from time to time and see different time periods. I like where I am though and would not like to stay in those time periods.

I always think it would have been interesting to live at the "Little House on the Prairie Times."-----just for a few days though. I love camping and all, but I think it would get a little old without electricity and running water after already been exposed to it now.

Read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series! You'll get cured of that quick when you realize how many discomforts we've eliminated in the last half-century alone. Her descriptive powers will make you wonder how any of us would have survived 18th century Scotland, France and the Revolutionary War....

I was born in the 40,s and loved the 50,s and 60,s, If I could go back it would be to the 50,s or early 60,s. You didnt have to lock the doors on your house. Could leave the keys in your car. Everyone knew where their kids were, it was a wonderful era.
