Dream - Winter Vacation Assignment

I dreamed that I was still in school, and it was during the winter vacation. (Just to give you a little background: In Taiwan, we have a summer vacation and a winter vacation for school kids. During these vacations, kids don't go to school daily, but there will be a day or two when the kids have to go back to school just to "check-in". There are also homework assignments that are due on the day they return to school after the vacation is over.)

I was back to school on a school check-in day. I was chatting with my classmates that I had not seen for about a month. The teacher came in and told us we had an exercise to do today. Each of us was supposed to say something true about someone else in the class that others might not know.

I had trouble thinking of something, but the exercise had already started. A girl shared with the class that another female classmate enjoyed people taking her to an outdoor activity for her birthday, instead of getting actual gifts wrapped in the boxes. I thought to myself that I ought to remember this, so I could plan an outing on her next birthday instead of buying her gifts.

The exercise continued, but I got side tracked and I was talking to another classmate sitting next to me. I asked about the winter vacation homework assignment, because there was supposed to be one but I didn't know what it was. He told me there was no homework assignment for this winter vacation. I thought that was really odd.
