Dear Writers
I am a freelance writer
not getting any work or hirer...
maybe I dont work hard
maybe I dont play with
The Right Card;
maybe I would go higher
If I write proper prose
and rather not be
a bard;
though I have a fear
when I may cease to be
I would definitely be
placed in regard
next to Shakespeare
In the best writers ward;
with this I feel lighter
yet be on my guard-
and ask is that a question?
were any writers free
by any chance?
Or did they all begin
Freelance?
