KAYLA ROSE

 I didn't have a lot of connections when it originally was posted, but this one is important to me, so I wanted to repost.

KAYLA ROSE is three today.

She had a hole in her heart when she was born.

She has little scars on her chest now.

That little girl can light up a room!

She smiles mischeivous, and what a laugh!

Dances whenever there is music,

She has me wrapped around her finger

'Cause she's wrapped around my heart

 With her curls and sparkling eyes,

And how she asks a hundred questions,

And likes me to make her fly,

And play the Buggy Broke Down and I Spy,

Or how she can make me get in the floor

And act like a child,

But the sad thing is . . .

Her mom and dad are

On the street.

She lives with Nana, and

She calls for them, but

They never come.

She takes it in stride

And loves whoever is

There for her.

I'll be there for her,

For KAYLA ROSE.

I'll pray for her;

I'll take her to dance,

I'll fix her hair,

Try to give her a chance.

She deserves it.
