Remember to have lots of fun. I always feel like when I TRY to get lots of points I don't, but when I just get on post and comment for fun the points roll in! I hope you reach your goal. I am a single mother of 6, so I know how things can be!

I hope you like gather and welcome by the way. Thank you for your connect request which I of course accepted. If you work from your mailbox as I do, once you join some groups, you may find it overwhelming, as I did. I just decided not to sweat it, you can do this. Once you get a system going it's not all that bad, and don't forget to breathe. (LOL)

Thanks .. I run a storage facility so as you can imagine it is not a very exciting job so normally I have a few hours a day to get online. I am so glad I found gather! I have already met some nice people and I am making lots of new friends! :)

By the I am in Michigan too David!

Welcome Dena! Happy to hear a deserving family like yours will be getting a new home! My advice to you would just to have fun on gather and meet lots of people. I too am new and Am trying to figure hather out still. But so far its becoming addicting for me and I loveot! The people are great as well! I will make sure to stop by and give you lots of points lol

Welcome to Gather, Dena! That is so exciting about your house. I know a Home Depot card would come in really handy for you. My advice to you in regard to Gather is to have fun and participate as much as you can. In doing this you will build your connections to other people on the site, and your points will accumulate. Before you know it, you'll have enough for a Home Depot card! There are many ways to contribute here on Gather....articles, images, or video. You can also join groups or start your own group. Inviting others to join Gather is also a great way to help yourself out.

If you type "help me" in the Gather search engine, it will take you directly to the Gather Aide Station where you can ask any question you may have in regard to the site. Have fun!

Hey Dena! Welcome to gather! My advice to you would be as Cheryl said, check the guides daily article and ask questions if you have any.

Also....wander around the site and find anything that might interest you and read, comment and ask people to connect! Have fun onsite and relax....we don't bite here and the membership is a good one, willing to help any and all find their way onsite!
