Hello ... I am looking for some good recipes for some things I can cook with my kids. Something easy and entertaining for them .. and something they are going to want to eat in the end! If anyone has any please share them :)
I would love to hear some holiday recipes ... for halloween, thanksgiving and christmas time!
My kids are ages 13,10,8, and 4. Thanks!

And BHG.com has the best ideas for Halloween cooking that I have seen.
My children and I make a flour, water and cornstarch mixure heavily scented with cinnamon and spice then use dyes and cookie cutters to shape. These are used as tuck around the house decrotive scent releasers. My dog does tend to eat them though so be careful that what you add is not toxix to man nor beast.
For Halloween ideas, putting things like chocolate pudding into new flowerpots and sticking gummy worms in the pudding is great for telling the kids they have to eat dirt. You can also do this with cake.
Try making punch with Diet Mountain Dew. It gives the punch a really eerie yellow-green glow, and you can tell them it's nuclear waste. ;-)
You can make them bob for apples, and put some different food coloring in the water to make it look gross.
Take a plain latex glove (unpowdered) and fill it with Diet Mountain Dew. Stick in the freezer. now you have an eerie green hand of ice to put in your punch!
Have fun!
