RENDITION is a suspenseful movie with a cast that is truly star-struck with top notch actors including Alan Arkin, Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal,Omar Metwally and Peter Sarsgaard.

This intrigue takes us to the very heart of today's news which is more history in the making and questions the very nature of the rights of all men and the Bill of Rights (if seen in proper historical perspective).
Witherspoon plays "Isabella El-Ibrahimi", an American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer, Anwar El-Ibrahimi (Omar Metwally). He disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington and Isabella is trying to figure out what happened to her husband.
Jake Gyllenhaal plays a CIA analyst who becomes involved in Anwar's unorthodox interrogation. Of course there is a cover-up in the making and it's up to Witherspoon to dig it out.

What's really interesting about this movie is how closely it mimics current events and how it actually plays out. While I haven't screened this movie, the cast alone makes this movie a "must see" film. Rendition Trailer:http://www.renditionmovie.com/ Check out this film. This should be a winner

>> than try to justify the crime that is extraordinary rendition.
LOL ... I think it might be a decent film it if sticks to the facts
and realizes that some of the people that have gotten snared
in rendition damn well deserve it and are some nasty -
non-American citizen terrorists.
Having just seen "The Kingdom" I was afraid of the same thing,
that it was going to pull punches to be nice to the terrorists, or
the Saudis, but it was a pretty decent action movie and well-
balanced to me.
If "Rendition" is too left wing wimpie, let me recommend "Kingdom",
it packs a good wallop!
