This little piece is not original with me. I received it as a forwarded e-mail, thus I have no way of crediting the original author. However, I just wanted to share it with you guys.
Isn’t this sad… New Orleans, - A seven-year old boy was at the center of a St. Charles Parish courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the New Orleans Saints, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

I wish I could take credit for writing it......but it had me going too..........and the punch line is just too funny.
I bit hook, line, and sinker myself.........
Thanks for reading....glad you got a chuckle........
I'm willing to bet very good money they won't lose this Sunday!
You got that right.........I'm also willing to bet they won't win either!
Aint da truth! Aint it da truth!
Just show this to them. They will understand..........
They march in like lions, but at the end of the games they have been going out like lambs..........
I am greatly disappointed that I have nothing to look forward to on Sunday now (did I tell you yet how much I love the Saints?....my first ever gather article was about the Saints and how much last season meant to us fans). Deuce was DA MAN....it's never the same without him.
It was not my goal to put down the team, but this has such a great build up and you don't see the end coming. I agree about Deuce. He was the center of the team last year and the rest of the team followed his...and Karne's....lead. If will make you feel better I will change St. Charles Parish to St. B.......................
It was a funny joke, and you're right...you didn't see the punchline coming. I'm just so bummed at how the season has gone so far, with everyone scratching their heads wondering what went wrong. I was so psyched after last season....
Deuce has been my favorite Saint since he joined the team. Though other players seem to get all the hype and endorsements (Reggie Bush), Deuce was the leading rusher. He was always under-rated and overlooked, while others (Reggie Bush) got all the glory. Deuce is a player with heart, and realizes that football is a team sport, unlike others who think it's about being a singular star (Reggie Bush). The Saints just aren't the same without him. Did I mention I think some players are highly over-rated (Reggie Bush)?
It got me first!
I was wondering....do you think that any of the Saints players......say, like Reggie Bush...are a bit over-rated?????
Well, you know....maybe he should have stuck around for his senior year with the rest of the egomaniacs at USC. The whole group is over-rated. Forget the polls, we know LSU is #1.
Of course LSU is #1. Why else would I have spent 6 years there?
I haven't seen any bags yet. However, at the end of the last game telecast, they kept the camera on a fan who had pulled the bottom of his very expensive "look -a-like" Saint's Jersy over his head and was just sitting there. He was probably reconsidering the money he put out on season tickets.
you had me thinking "that poor boy"!! You had me fooled.
It seems to go right along with the update on your recent post about Brit, from Kentwood, LA.
Very funny post Robb, like most you had me going there too...
Of course, I've noticed. I've gotten worn out, beat up and battered helping them play from my sofa! I sure hope you're right about the first part and wrong about the last part! Glad you got a kick out of the post.
