100 years - all new people

I was reading a quotation book and this one stuck with me - 100 years from now -all new people. There will still be a few people that are alive right now still around in 100 years,but most of us will be gone. And it got me to thinking - if someone that was alive 100 years ago could come back, what a different world they would come back to. They never seen a tv,a computer, a microwave,never saw space travel or an airplane. I wonder what they would think. And if we could come back 100 years from now,what would await us.

There's no telling just what it will be like. When I was in Jr. Hi, we had the Science Weekly Readers that came about once a week, and we'd discuss what the world would be like in the next 40 years or so. They predicted a massive amount of free time with lots of leisure activities, short 4 day work weeks. But that hasn't happened. Instead, we have fewer jobs and work available, and people often have to work 2 jobs or more in a family to make ends meet. So it's hard to predict.
