Anxiety has calmed & I've been feeling more & more weird about having my friends call me, "A H"

I've been thinking about this daily. The more I get to know you, the more I think I should go ahead & tell you my name. So, here it is, I'm Allie. *waves*

It's really weird when my friends & people who are also becoming my friends have to call & refer to me as "A H". When I first joined, I didn't even use my first names initial. The more I got to know my Gather family, the less paranoid & anxious I became.

I know some of you are enjoying calling me, Pirate Wench, that's cool too. It makes me laugh whenever one of you says it. (I think Matt C. will probably always call me that now - & he's not the only one) :-)

So, there it is. Feel free to call me any of the three, I don't mind either way, I just think it's time to reveal my real name.

I think alot of the gather folks use a fantasy name
ok if I had thought of one I kind of like Raven I wanted to name my last daughter that but my husband had veto power and used it

Hi Allie, I had similar concerns but decided to stop feeling I had to be anonymous in this 'big, bad world'. What a delightful experience gather has been too. I never would have believed I could have such a sense of community with people I've never met, but it shows that the human race is not as far gone as our actions would make one assume.:) Congrats on coming out.
