I can't believe it is Thursday already. Where did the week go? I have been entertaining a good friend from Florida and saw her off yesterday and left to volunteer at school immediately after. I also have school this morning. Yesterday was Johnny Appleseed,aka John Chapman's 233 birthday and I did a lesson for the kids in my second grade room about him. They love using the map and love history. I then read a story about his life and they had many questions. I also had individuals read to me. Since I'm still getting acquainted with them I don't know their reading capabilities that well. My emphasis through the school yr. is helping them be better readers.
How is your day going so far? Won't you come in and sit a spell and enjoy some coffee. I won't be able to stay long this morning but you are all welcome to visit after I leave.

Yes Heather it is a very good organization as it helps people get homes but they also have to put a lot of themselves into them.
I was supposed to have been on GMA this morning, but the judge dealing with the Larry Craig case won't decide whether or not to let Larry withdraw his misdemeanor guilty plea until next week. So, probably near the end of next week.

This week has actually been going kind of slow for me...my birthday party is Saturday, so time always seems to drag when you're looking forward to something. ;)
