I know most of us are writers in some way at least, but what is the absolute best, most amazing, unrealistic job you would like to have? Would it be Writer or Spy or Movie Star or Wine Taster or what?
I HAVE my dream job! It's with Market America, I have an online store and walk out to mailbox every Monday to get my commission check!! After owning a truck stop, a book store, a bicycle shop this is by far the best 'job' I have EVER had!!
hmmmm While growing up and into my twenties I wanted nothing more than to work with plants. Landscape artist, not really the cut flowers. But as I grew so did my dream. No pun intended. Now I creat and market bath products for children and adults. It is so much fun. I love my childrens line.
Well ~ I really want to be a teacher - I just wish I could wave a wand and make the 4 yrs. of college go by though - I'm not looking forward to that.
I also would enjoy being a professional organizer - I know crazy - but I love putting things in their place and with all the cute basket, boxes and cubby holes it would be too fun!!!
Or perhaps a billionaire - is that a job??? (hee-hee)
I spent most of my life thinking that my dream job would be to be a Broadway actress...I'm sooooo over that! LOL! Now, there are so many things I want to do, I don't have just one dream job. I think I'm with Angela...being independently wealthy is really important...I hope to accomplish that through many different avenues...variety is the spice of life, after all!
My focus now, though, is becoming a published author. You can all help me out, too! :)
of course I'd love to be paid to write, but..... until then, yes an english or writing professor would be great, but so would some kind of job that paid well and required me to travel to Europe frequently!! Maybe a travel writer! In real life I'm a former social worker, now waitress and certified massage therapist. if I got rich, I'd love to do a lot of volunteer work for moveon.org or for a miriad of other non profits. Let's all make these dreams come true.
I would like to be the Director of a Foundation that is funded by the money I get when I win the lottery. That would be my dream job of anonymously giving money to help people who help people and people who need help. Like the children who need an electric wheelchair so they can go down the street by themselves and not have to be pushed. Like soup kitchens that have more people to feed than food. Giving a vacation to someone who has volunteered many hours without reward. Getting a mobile scooter for an elderly person who can't go more than ten steps with a walker. Helping people who fall between the cracks of society. Helping the homeless...
all my dream jobs would require me to forfit my pay right back to them ,like as a worker in a book store or a garden store they would get my check plus some I imagine so I'm better off not woking my dream job
