Personally, these points are starting to get on my nerves. Everyone wants more
points, no one has enough points, we want to figure out the point system.
Points are annoying, but I admit I want more too. I'm trying to build enough
points so that I can get a $25 gift card by Christmas. I know that they would make a
pleasing gift for someone in my family. HOWEVER, things are going really slowly now.
People aren't reading and commenting on my articles as much as I would like.
Probably, it's my fault. I don't have enough connections, I'm not writing the
popular articles, I'm not commenting enough on other's articles. I don't know. Anyway...
point check time for all. I have 368 points and 180 connections. You guys?

That and spending something like two hours a day on Gather seems to get me about 100 points a day. I was hoping to get to the 3000 by the end of September, but I am probably not going to make it. I have about 1950 points today. Some folks manage to get 200 points a day, but I have not so far been that successful. Just keep working it is the only suggestion I have for you.

I am getting ready to redeem my points for a $25 Home Depot card as we are moving and will probably need some things. The next gift card I get though, I am going to donate to another Gatherite, Roger Kiser (authorrdk), for all of his work with abused or unwanted animals. He needs some help right now getting some supplies and can't afford what he needs. If you can, check out his article about what he is doing... its for a good cause. He also has some very interesting videos you should watch.... :)

The point system annoys me too. I have 272 points, 4O Connections. I think at 500-1000 points people should be able to redeem them! 3000 is too much! Never been into the Biggest Loser.
