How do you all do it?

How do you keep up with reading all your articles. I constantly find myself falling behind. I make it a habit to try to read as many as I can find time for each day and leave comments,but sometimes I get overwhelmed. Any tips would be appreciated.

There is no way to look at every article, image and video on Gather. You'd have to live here and be a speed reader. In the morning, I sift through what I want to read and delete the other notifications. As the day comes and goes I tend to read as my day gives me time for. Before bed I clear out my email box from Gather and other emails. And in the morning, I start the process again. I don't feel guilty not reading everything and I know people understand.

Nope no way. Pick and choose, pace yourself. And go from there.

I read as many as I can, I pick and choose also. You can't read every article. Don't overwhealm yourself.

I don't read every article in a newspaper, why should I read every one here. If the title and first line or so look interesting, I open it and at least skim it, if not, I move on to the next one.

I haven't been getting mine lately so it is not a problem, but I did have that...sometimes you have to just delete..

You do have to be selective. I try to respond to people who comment on my stuff. Kind of a right goes around comes around thing.

Margaret, it is impossible to comment or read everything. I read the little blurp in the notification and decide from there. Also I try to go to everyone who has recently commented on my publications to be fair as Nan said.

I pick and choose depending on my mood, if you have a lot of groups you can shut some off, Don't sweat it, You are not a machine.

I just get behind...then start knocking them out as fast as I can...sometimes if I am too behind I resort to the dreaded cut and paste...but when you do it with a cute tag it don't seem too bad.

Well, sometimes I give up my meal times. Other times I just neglect my cats, kids, husband. You know. We have to do these things for the greater good sometimes. In the end, I still don't get through all I'd like to and I don't get time to proactively seek new connections. I just hope that writing new content infused with witty and intelligent humor will draw them in and make me an irresistible connection conquest. One day it'll all be worth it - I'll have a shiny new $50 gift card all of my own. :))

It's impossible as the number of friends and groups grow. All you can do is your best. I don't have a lot of time to spend here. I try to reply to all my posts, and then try to get to each that responded to mine, plus new postings posted. But, it's a challenge, and I cannot keep up either.

I just look at the ones that pop up on my namespace. Sometimes, if the new articles aren't coming quickly, I'll scan back through past articles...
It's a chaotic place! lol
