This poem was written for a family photo quilt I made for my great grandmothers 90th birthday. I do need to give a little recognition to my mother Lisa Frost for the first few lines!

OUR INSPIRATION
Dear Francis to you, these words are from our hearts
to tell you we love you and thank God for your part.
The role that you have played in each of our lives
be it friend, sister, mother, mamaw or wife.
You are the meaning of strength at it’s highest peak
You have courage when the rest of us are weak.
You have no idea about the effect you have made
and with the lessons we’ve learned, how our lives have changed.
You inspire us so much to live for the now
and to never give up because you don’t know how.
When the road gets rocky, you seem to take each bump
and walk over them smoothly, hump after hump.
You’ve helped us, not just to change, but also to grow
from immature children to the great adults we know.
God made a wonderful woman who’s love never grows old.
You have a smile made of sunshine and a heart of pure gold.
Thank you for all the things that you have ever done
that made this family strong, and work well as one!

Lovely poem, there is good, strong love shining through your words.
The respect you hold for her, who she is, what she did, how important she is/was to you just jumps off the page.
Good write, chica-letta.
Blessings to you,
Wilka
