It's Homecoming- see what's going on!

Once again it is time for UI students, faculty and staff to bring out their inner Hawkeye and to celebrate Homecoming 2007: Our Heroes are Hawkeyes.

Some highlights include:

Wednesday - Campus-wide BLACKOUT, wear your homecoming t-shirt & button and win a prize when you are spotted by the Homecoming prize patrol.
Sports Night 6-9 pm, UI Athletics Hall of Fame. Bring a non-perishable canned food item for our annual food drive benefiting the Iowa City Crisis Center.

Friday - Parade 5:45 pm, Downtown Iowa City All streets within the boundary of Jefferson, Dodge, Burlington, and Gilbert will close at 4:00 pm. The parade route will close at 4:30 pm (except Gilbert St. will close at 5:30 pm) The Transit will be allowed through until 4:45 pm and the Clock Tower will stay open till 5:15 pm. Patrons will be escorted down to Gilbert St. Cars must be out by 5:30 pm.  Information about the parade route is on the website.
