EPHESIANS 6:10-11 [armor of God]

THE ARMOR OF GOD

Spiritual Warrior, be strong in the power 

Of the Lord on High

Our battle is not one of the flesh, of man

But the forces of Evil, fortified.

The full armor of God is ours

to wear

That in the face of evil

Against Satan we may stand.

Truthfulness shall be your belt

Fasten it around your waist

Attach the breastplate of righteousness

Upon its rightful place

Stand tall upon the Lord's peace

With your feet always ready

And hold out the shield of faith

For it will keep you steady

In your right hand raise the sword

Christened with the Holy Spirit

The helmet of Salvation on your head

Reminds you have a cross: 'Bear It'

O mighty warrior, now drop to your knees

And praise God in Holy prayer

For prayer makes the armor works

And tells the devil to beware

The Armor of God

Is the best suit tailored

It will save us from defeat

And bring evil into failure.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the Devil's schemes.  {Eph. 6:10-11}
