Home Depot to close 11 Landscape Supply outlets
Home Depot will close its 11 Landscape Supply stores in Georgia and Texas, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported. The doors will close by Nov. 19. Home Depot spokesperson Ron DeFeo told the paper that the company can serve landscape supply customers at traditional stores.

So if you happen to live near any of these stores, watch for sales & deals. I know there is a handfull of stores in the Dallas area. We were selling to the Landscape Supply stores, so I know they have great product! They sell plants, shrubs, trees...that I know of.

This is too bad. These stores offer so much more variety than the traditional HD stores. We do have a LS nearby and I will definitely be watching for sales. Thanks for the info Priscilla :)

That is sad for the people that live in that area and are here on Gather. It makes it harder for them to use their well earned gc's.

I live somewhere else so I hope it won't effect us here. I really like Home Depot. It's better than Lowe's I think.

No Home Depot Box Stores are closing, these are seperate Home Depot Landscape Supplu stores, all they do is landscape stuff.

I wasn't aware that they had landscape supply stores. The two Home Depots by me both have garden centers, and they are pretty nice...but no landscape stores by us.
