Did ya ever wanna write an article, but ya didn't really want it to be about anything specific, or even pertinent?? I mean, you know, like, just write and write and not really say anything that really matters a whole hell of a lot. Just kind of let your mind float down stream, as it were. Start typing and just kind of sort of ramble on and on about nothing in particular. You know, just blah blah blah a whole page of this and that and da udder ting. You don't know what ya really wanna say, but ya feel like saying sumpin', even if what you're saying isn't really sumpin' at all. Ya get this strong urge to write, but when ya write, ya don't really write anything that anybody else would actually be interested in reading. Well, not much, that is. Ya write and write and write, but when you're finished writing, ya read what ya wrote and ya realize ya didn't really write anything at all. Writing is like that sometimes. Sometimes what ya write doesn't need to be relevant or important or even make much sense, for that matter. Ya just write 'cause ya like to write. Ya kind of sort of write for writing's sake, as it were. Ya write 'cause ya want to, and that's a good enough reason as any for ya to write, when ya write, that is. Ya just kind of sort of aimlessly write a whole string of words and sentences that don't really add up to much of anything at all. But ya have fun just doing it Sometimes it is fun to just sit and write about nothing at all, or, at least, noithing in particular. Some people have been doing it for years, I suppose. Some people have even made a boatload of money writing about nothing. People sometimes like to read about nothing in particular, as well. But I'm talking about writing nothing in particular, not reading nothing in particular. However, I guess ya can't read nothing in particular unless someone writes nothing in particular, right?? But who would ever just sit and keep reading an article that was about nothing in particular?? People got better things to do than just read something that runs on and on and never really says anything worthwhile. Who would wanna waste their time like that anyway?? I sure wouldn't, I know that. And, when ya think about it, who would want to just sit and write a bunch of meaningless sentences that never really go anywhere?? It's a big waste of time, if ya ask me. While I realize that ya didn't really ask me, I was using a literary device known as a rhetorical question. It's when ya ask something that ya really didn't expect anyone to answer. It's called being "rhetorical". I suppose that's why they call it a rhetorical question. Ya know, because it's rhetorical and everything. But, rhetorically speaking, who would want to write about nothing in particular?? It's stupid, if ya ask me. See there?? I was being rhetorical again. Sometimes it's fun being rhetorical, don't ya think?? Writing should never be sumpin' about nothing----or even nothing about sumpin'. Because, when ya write about nothing you're actually writing about nothing, even if it's not really sumpin'. And if you write about nothing you're not really writing about sumpin', even if it's nothing at all. I think if a person writes about nothing, it should be about sumpin'. But then, if it was sumpin', then it couldn't be nothing-----unless it wasn't sumpin'.

I write about nothing all the time.... but that means I'm writing about something, because... if I'm writing about nothing, that nothing has to be something....... Great. Thanks berf. Now I'm confused!!!
