I bought a Garmin Etex. I did a lot of researce and found the Garmin to be the best for my needs. The Etrex model is great for newbies just starting to cache which is what I am. Actually it is hubby and I both that geocache. I have also found Earthcaches, waymarking and benchmarks. It is all fun and gives you more than just one thing to searce for while playing in the woods, fields and towns.

The only problem with the model you have is the amount of waypoints stored, the fact that waypoints have to be added manually and that you can't hook it up to the PC. My first GPS was the Etrex Legend (blue). That was a great unit and so accurate.
