Time flies when you’re having fun and what we’ve heard from so many members is that time is certainly breezing by. The days have been packed with great adventures, fun activities and incredible scenery that make this member cruise impossible to forget!
Just when we thought this trip couldn’t get any better, we headed to the Hubbard Glacier on Day 6 and the sights and sounds of this magnificent natural wonder left us all awe-struck. The Hubbard Glacier is the longest ice river in North America and is also one of the most active. So active, in fact, that we all witnessed the glacier calving with thunderous cracking sounds as it released massive blocks of ice into the water. It was spectacular! Check out the pictures capturing it all!
On Day 7, we headed to Alaska’s newest port and private destination of Icy Strait Point. Members spent the day whale watching, exploring nature trails and zipping down 1,300 feet on the ZipRider®, the longest zipline in the world. What an experience zipping down a mountain at speeds up to 60 mph! It was truly unforgettable!

Day 8 took us to the southeast Alaska city of Sitka. Our members explored the Russian architecture, the native Tlingit culture and history and witnessed the breathtaking surrounding views of the jagged mountains and towering volcano.
Besides the great cities explored, we’ve kept our days at sea action-packed. Whether you participated in our Crayola® Glass Pendant workshop making beautiful necklaces, our dance classes or our Scrapbooking class (and that’s just to name a few!), there has been truly something for everyone with days filled with fun and adventure onboard.

We leave Seattle tonight making our way toward the Oregon coastal town of Astoria. Many members are taking the opportunity to tour Mount St. Helens or get the behind the scenes tour of Fort Stevens. It’s sure to be fun day and we’re looking forward to hearing our members’ stories from their day in the evening back on the ship.
Don’t let us do all the talking! Tell us what you’ve loved about your Ultimate Alaska adventure so far and the friendships you’ve made with fellow members.

the fantastic scenery. rpw
I YEARN to visit Alaska! Hubby lived there as a teenager and swears if I go, I'll never come back! So... we're putting off the trip until we are a little older!
Great photos. I have never visited, but hope to get there one day!
