Ok, so I admit it...I'm addicted to teen dramas. I have secretly watched and loved shows like Degrassi: The Next Generation (thank you CW for bringing it on Sundays) and Beyond the Break on the teen cable network The "N." I was a Dawson's Creek fan back in the day and of course Bevery Hills 90210. I admit that I didn't get into One Tree Hill and the OC that much, though I would watch them every so often. I guess it all started with shows like Swan's Crossing (do you remember that show with Sarah Michelle Gellar playing Sydney Rutledge? She later went on to play Kendall (Erica Kane's daughter) on All My Children). Now I have a new guilty pleasure....Gossip Girl.
It debuted on Wednesday, but I didn't get a chance to really watch it until last night (thank goodness for DVR). All I can say is wow! Sex, Drugs, Drinking and the Upper East Side? Who could ask for anything more in a teen drama. For those of you who haven't seen it, I'm not giving details away about the plot here. But you can find out more about the series here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gossip_Girl_(TV_series).

Ah yes, Hollywood's greatest ethics at work. And remember, it's these bafoons that think they ought to be telling the rest of the nation how to live!
When you get older, with a few more years under your belt and with all the crap that comes with experience you will find that everything you think is so cool now has become your greatest handicap for happiness. I only pray your journey isn't too hard.
So someone actually watches this stuff.
Just Say No... Suggestions Welcomed.
