It Is Finished

Well hallelujah and pass the potato salad!  :P  My book, NATURE OF THE B*E*A*S*T* is finally finished.  Woohoo!!!

This book is the third in my best-selling B*E*A*S*T* series, and I finished it up at about 2:15am in the morning today.  No, I'm not usually up that late, but DH wasn't bugging me and the kids were asleep, so away I went! 

This book has been eluding me, almost refusing to be written.  It's original deadline was April 1st, but when that came and went, I spoke with my publisher and she agreed to give me an open-ended extension (gotta love that woman).  She told me better to write a kick-ass book than rush along and write a mediocre book just to meet deadline. 

 I'm so thankful she gave me extra time.  Even though this book is technically almost six months late, I think it's pretty awesome myself.  :)

The first book of this series, THE B*E*A*S*T* WITHIN, is currently in print and you can find it all over the 'Net, Amazon, B&N, Borders...  You can also order it directly from your local bookstore.  It's probably not on the shelf, because the house I'm with is still so small (http://www.champagnebooks.com), and there isn't a "big enough" demand for their books for bookstores to automatically stock them, however they CAN order them.  Only my local bookstores stock them, and that's because I'm a local talent, and there's some sales incentives there.

This book, however, has been doing very well for itself on Amazon.com, I must say.  In fact, I have fans ask me every few days when the second book is coming to print.  B*E*A*S*T* OF BURDEN will be in print SOON.  I think it's literally the very next book my publisher has slated to go into the print program, so be on the lookout for it.

The third book that I just finished, NATURE OF THE B*E*A*S*T*, will be out in eBook in December (I believe), and probably in print shortly thereafter.  I'm so excited!

These books have literally been my BEST sellers to date.  I'm actually surprised I haven't posted the book cover to Gather yet.  Seems like every other day I'm posting a new book cover!  Just goes to show how fast the eBook world moves.  :P

But YAY!  It's done!  You have no idea how jazzed I am.
