should we control pigeons with birth pills?

Should there be compulsory birth control for idiots?

Sorry but that is how I feel about the subject, it Gaul's me that men believe that they have the right to control ALL things on the planet!

Pigeons are, like many species on this wonderful world of ours following a survival strategy, the larger the number the more chance of the species continuing.
We(man)have given them the chance by building continuously wherever and whenever we felt like it across the globe.
To deny one particular species the right to survival over another because of cleanliness is total insanity.

My views are not based on religion but more on mans inhumanity to man.
For too long we have rode over the rights and dreams of other humans in the name of progress, often in the name of religion, wars have been fought for the control of land sea and minerals all the while forgetting/ignoring the harm we are/have done to the natural order of the planet.

To now say that we have the right to stop what we started is ludicrous, Pigeons like rats mice and various other inhabitants of our cities are doing what comes naturally to them.
We(humans)by fighting colonising and destroying are doing what comes natural to us, the difference is that we have the technology and resources to destroy at will ALL life forms on this planet if we so desire.
BUT we do not have the moral right to do so nor do we have the right to destroy the planet on which we live.

During the war of 39/45 a certain Mr Hitler tried to eradicate a race of people and dominate the world, I personally would class those who advocate the control of pigeons by means of birth control in the same category of that hated man.

Some may say that last piece is over the top 'after all they are only pigeons" but if you let them "control" pigeons because they are dirty disease ridden and a nuisance where does it end?
I go back to my first statement.
