Anyone go garage sailing today?

I haven't had much time,but there was one around the corner from my house and I picked up this neat thing, it's like plexiglass and you put it over a book page and press a button and it lights up. Good for reading at night when hubby is sleeping. Then I went to a thrift store and got a 1000 piece puzzle Historic Sites of Pennsylvania for 50 cents and a book for my son for 35 cents. I love looking for bargains.

I didn't get to any sales this year, it sounds like you found a couple good bargains. I hope you're having a good weekend.

We don't have any garage sales around here...not this time of year. I love buying second hand, though. ^_^ Goodwill is my downfall...hehe. There's a huge Goodwill (as well as Salvation Army) store around here and their books are mad cheap, so I just go insane and buy tons of them. I think I get books at 25 cents...hehe. ;)

Oooo, you got good deals! I haven't gone mainly because I've been more focussed in getting rid of extra things and saving money that I tend to jsut stay away from the temptation. :)
Can I come spend the evening with you and help with the puzzle? lol

Sounds like a good time. I love to hit the sales too, but they are finishing up around here in preparation for winter time.

Yard Sale-ing used to be my favorite sport when I lived in the country. Don't see too many of them in the city.
