First I'd like to thank the person who posted this cleaning tip. Please identify yourself so I & everyone else can thank you for this wonderful tip!
You must know that I hate to clean, let alone clean showers. It is one of my least favorite things to clean in the house (the entire bathroom actually) and it really could use a good, deep cleaning...so any tips like this that make it easier are appreciated!
I have a shower made with those shower kit walls made of Veritex that you find in apartments and other new houses these days, and I usually will scrub the bottem of the tub because it gets dirty the fastest as my dog loves to jump in and stare at you to turn on the water so she can bite it! After that I may get the walls if I'm feeling ambitious but not usually because I hate doing it..
Anyway, I tried this tip and now it will be the only thing I use to clean the showers. I'm getting a box strictly for under my sink for my bathroom. The tip is to use a dryer sheet to scrub the soap scum off the walls! I swear it wipes it right off! I dont have to use all my strength scrubbing as hard as I can and now the chore just got more pleasurable to do because now it's fast and easy! It was just one of those tips where I had an "Yes Lord" moment where I thought "This tip is what I've been waiting for!"
The first scrub might take a couple sheets but if you keep this up once every other week, you wont ever have to scrub the shower like a mad women before company is just about to come over!
If any of you are at home and are able to do what ever it is you feel like doing other than read and comment on Gather (like me) and your shower needs a scrub, I urge you to grab a sheet, give it a try and come back here and tell me if you agree! ( I could us the points ya'll!)
