Earlier this week I wrote about a crazy day I had. My bird got caught in her store bought nest and was hanging and bleeding a bit. We got her loose and took her to the vet, they said the toe still had blood flowing to it so we went home and just watched her closely. Today the toe is really dark colored and when I tried to touch it I realized that it is is hard and wont bend! We called the vet about it tonight, we are getting antibiotics tomorrow for her and in the next week the toe will either fall off...?? or it will need to be removed..
So, I am about to spend $80++ dollars on a small bird- we love our animals! Wish us luck!
