Green bay would be a surprising entry in this year's playoffs but wouldn't that be fitting for Mr. Favre. I'm guessing this is his last year.

I hope the Packers win! They are not my favorite team, but I am a huge fan of Bret Farve. The last few seasons have been murder for him, and I hope he can make a comeback this season. He really does deserve it.

I agree Ty Phoon. I feel about Favre at the point pretty much the way I felt about Elway nearing the end of his career, although there is nothing to regret. Favre has certainly accomplished a great deal, and if he does decide to go, will leave football . . . well, football's glory days are waning in my estimation. There is something about this game that isn't the same as in former years.

Nalita, I know what you mean. Elway really deserved something great at the end of his career, and thats what he got. He could then retire as the best player of the time. I hope that Farve gets the chance to do the same. He is about to break the record for most touchdowns, but I want him to retire with something more than that. I think the only reason why he continues to play is because he wants another ring. I hope he gets it.

So long as we got people like Manning and Brady, I dont think football will ever lose its audience.

Congratulation to the Green Bay Packers and to Brett Favre. There was NEVER a doubt in MY mind. Now maybe others will start to take the Packers a lot more seriously. The Packers had better start packing their bags. They'll be off to an NFC championship game at the end of the season.
