I will NEVER understand why driver's license/state ID photes have to be so HORRIBLE!! 

I've been putitng off getting a new one because i'm going to be moving soon...I wanted to wait until then, but NOOOOOOOO the state of Michigan decided I had to get an updated one..so after years of stickers on the back when I move I now have a brand-spanking new ID..just in time to move so that I end up having to start all over with the stupid change of address stickers!!  Insanity I tell you!!  I"ll just wait until I hit my goal weight with weight watchers and get a new one then.

Well, back to the photo...I went out of my way to have a decent picture on it for a chance..I dyed my hair the night before, didn't want any unsightly roots right?  I plucked the old eyebrows so I didn't look like sasquatch...I wore a shirt that was a REALLY flattering color for my skin tone and darker hair color...went ALL OUT on the make-up....how did it turn out?  Can you say yuck?  I look like Morticia Adams' even paler sister!!  sheesh!! Not fair I tell you!!  not fair at all!! 

And by the way...NO I am NOT going to post the scary pic for all to see!!

Aww....I'm sorry your picture didn't come out so well. :( I always hate that.

My pictures generally come out really bad, but I didn't even care about my license picture, so I wore a tank top and went in with a whatever attitude and it actually ended up coming out good. xD I was lucky.

I was seriously hoping that you would post it.......I guess it would be kinda tacky of me to tell you that I have always had an awesome DL photo.....lol

The first one I ever had was GREAT..back when I was 18 though LOL....I'm just hoping that once I get the new one when I get to my WW goal weight that i'll like the picture...I don't hate this one exactly, but I definitely don't love it LOL

the funny thing is, this was the second pic she took..the first one was REALLY bad lol..this one looked better on the computer there than it does now that I have it...had I known I would have had her take another one...at least my hair looked good LOL

I have found the BEST way to deal with the photographers at the Registry Of Motor Vehicles is to NOT CONFUSE THEM with hair dyes and make up! Truth be told, I am sorta happy with mine, and I went in on a hellishly hot summer day after sweating it out in the gardens all day long and it came out pretty good. I find it amusing when people say, "Heh, heh, let me see," and I whip it out, and their eyebrows furrow in puzzlement. I honestly got so lucky! I think I was too exhausted and sun-soaked to care, that day. But I do know what you mean. And why do they have such poor quality photos? I mean, really. For all the money they take from us...well, heck!

I look SO pale!! I know i'm pale anyway...i'm so pale I probably glow in the dark...but I have dark hair...dark eyebrows..and I wore more makeup than usual...but I look almost featureless LOL...it stinks....oh well....i'll live...could be worse...I could look like a convict lol

Sorry your picture didn't turn out. Sometimes I think the one who snaps a picture waits until we don't look our best before snapping the picture. Think about it, when we get pulled over or questioned by the cops. They always seem to catch us when we don't look our best. Just watch the show cops and you will see just how people look, than look at the driver's license. It is an exact match. It is almost like that person knows and is bound to take a bad picture to place it on our driver's license.

LOL...that's a good point, but I don't drive! I just have a state ID...but I know what you mean...and I agree with you...like I said, I don't hate it exactly...but I sure don't love it...the only one i'd have that I did love was the first one I ever had taken..back when I was 18...but then again I looked pretty darn hot back then LOL

You guys have change of address stickers for your license/ids? In NC we have to get a whole new license when we move. I have to get a new one now since I got married this weekend. I hate going through all the rigamarole.

first of all, CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm really happy for you!!

ok..now back to your question LOL..yes we do have them...but only if you change your address within the 4 years that the license is good for. I have a state ID, so after the 4 years I get sent another sticker for the back that makes the ID good for another 4 years. I think the actual license is the same way, but i'm not postive. I remember having to change mine when I got married. It definitely was a pain..that's why I didn't go back to my maiden name when I got divorced lol
